Fish of most varieties was plentiful in Christchurch shops yesterday Tarakihi and blue cod, which were not on sale at all shops, sold for 3s and 3s fid a pound respectively. Sole' fillets ranged in price from 4s fid to 5s fid. and flounder fillets sold at 3s 6d. Ling and gurnard were both 2s a pound, bream fillets were 2s fid. and kingfish was 2s 9d Groper ranged in price from 2s 9d a pound to 3s 9d.
