NEW TRAFFIC LIGHTS
Operation On Wednesday
A new set of traffic lights at the intersection of Madras, High and St. Asaph streets will come into operation next Wednesday. The lights will be operating over the weekend, but there will be no lamps in them. This will enable technicians to check the timing and the detector pads. Final adjustments will be made on Tuesday. The marking of lanes on the road was done yesterday and the traffic department of the City Council urges persons using the Intersection, before the lights come into operation to be careful to select the correct lane.
