SEVEN SOLDIERS INJURED
Vehicle In Convoy Overturns (N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, F ebruary 10. Seven Territorials of the New Zealand Scottish Regiment were injured when a onetion Army vehicle overturned at Colyton at 9.50 a m. today. Private H. L. Rogers was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital with concussion and minor chest injuries. Private I. B. McDowell was admitted to the Linton Camp Hospital with a fractured skull, and Private P. E. Burr was admitted to the Linton Camp Hospital with bruises and a sore chest. Treated for minor injuries but not admitted to hospital were: Privates B. J. Mair, I. J. Lambourne, B. McLennan, and P. H. Besley. The regiment is holding its annual camp at Linton. The vehicle was part of a convoy. Negotiating a sharp bend, it got out of control, ran into a bank, and overturned. Only three of the 10 occupants escaped injury.
