Appointments In Britain
LONDON. Feb. fi. Mr Bernard Braine, a member of Parliament, has been appointed Joint Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Commonwealth Relations Office, it was officially announced today. In an official announcement the Prime Minister (Mr Macmillan) gave other appointments approved by the Queen. Ths Earl of Bathurst, aged 33, to be Joint Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State. Home Office. Mr Richard Sharpies. M.P.. to be Joint Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Pensions and National Insurance. Mr Denzil Kingston Freeth. MP, to be Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Science. The Earl Jallieoe to be a Lord In Waiting (in the Royal household).
