Doctors’ Move To Form Association (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 9. A committee to form a New Zealand Association of Sport and Medicine was chosen in Auckland last night at an informal meeting of 40 doctors. When formed, the association is expected to have both medical and non-medical representation in a bid to cover all sports, injury treatment, and research related to sport, including training aspects. Members of the committee are: Dr. N. R. Jefferson, who is also president of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association; Dr. John Heslop, a surgeon who has been a cricket selector; and Dr. J. A. Kilpatrick, who is also a member of the Otego Swimming Centre executive. All from Dunedin, the three men have Ijeen em-
powered to co-opt anyone in any district to support the formation of the association.
