Admiral On Fishing Holiday In N.Z.

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 31. Admiral Sir William Tennant arrived in Auckland today in the Athenic. He will spend about seven weeks’ holiday in New Zealand at the invitation of the Governor-General (Viscount Cobham), and hopes to do a lot of .fishing. He was knighted for his war services in 1945 and promoted to admiral in 1948. He retired in 1949.
