CREW OF RB-47
'‘Fate Of Three Men Unknown” (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) TOPEKA (Kansas), Jan. 39. A United States Air Force officer said last night that the released airmen, Captains John McKone and Freeman Olmstead, had been unable to give any information about the fate of three other crewmen of the RB-47 bomber shot down near the Soviet Union last July. It was the first air force statement about the men’s fate since McKone and Olmstead were released from a Soviet prison last week.
