REMOVING STAINS FROM NYLON
Most stains can be safely removed from white nylon undies, blouses, shirts, etc., by careful bleaching. On no account should a harsh bleach be used. A safe method is 2oz of Clor-O-Gene to i gallon of water (not hot). Add a few drops of vinegar, this liberates the oxygen and chlorine and results in faster, more effective action. Badly stained or discoloured garments may need a second treatment. It is important tp rinse the garments thoroughly and to follow directions .carefully. Clor-O-Gene provides a higher standard of bleaching and is available from all stores and a pamphlet giving many uses of this wonder fluid is obtainable by sending name and address to Clor-O-Gene Supplies, Ltd., P.O. Box 47. Petone.
