S.M. BACK FROM SAMOA
Relieving Post In Auckland (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 11. For the last four years Judge of the High Court of Western Samoa, Mr E. F. Rothwell, S.M., formerly of Lower Hutt, is serving for some months as a relieving Magistrate in Auckland. He will later be appointed to a permanent circuit Mr Rothwell became a Magistrate in early 1957, shortly after his Samoan appointment was announced.
He is a former DeputyMayor of Lower Hutt and has served as president of the Wellington District Law Society and as a member of the council of the New Zealand Law Society.
