Protest Not Upheld
A protest was lodged by P. J. Kempton, riding Lady York, which finished second m the Juvenile Handicap at Washdyke on Saturday, alleging that Cantalo. ridden by J. H. Jones, crossed hit mount at the four furlongs and caused her to lose ground. The judicial committee found at that stage of the race Cantrio did move over on to Lady York, but any interference at such a stage was of such a minor nature as not to warrant an alteration In the placing*.
