"The Press" Special Service
WELLINGTON, December 30. The Riccarton visitor, Rustic, is expected to begin another northern campaign successfully in the Wairarapa Cup, the first leg of the T.A.B. double on the opening day of the Wairarapa Racing Club’s summer meeting at Tauherenikau tomorrow.
Interest will be taken in the reappearance of Howsie, runner-up to Hi-Jinx in the Melbourne Centenary Cup. Howsie is the top-weight, with 8-12.
Runners with form at Christmas meetings are Heythorpe,, Ruye, Colchis, Spondulicks, and Summer Glory.
