Leithfield Beach
Sir.—Your article of December 29 refers to Leithfield Beach. I would be very interested to know where the tar-sealing was done as to my knowledge no sealing has been done for at least six years. The oiling done to already oiled roads would have been better used in the forgotten northend “dust bowl," where speeding cars churn up the dust to the annoyance of bach-holders. Until the board is filled with more progressive men with modern ideas Leithfield always will be the Cinderella beach.—Yours, etc., BACH-OWNER. December 29, 1960.
