Early Decision Expected

Appointments to the posts of High Commissioner in London and Ambassador to the United States, vacant during the Labour Government’s three years of office, will be items on the agenda at the National Cabinet meeting on Monday, January 16, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight. Mr Holyoake. who was on a brief visit to Wellington from his Hawke’s Bay farm, said no arrangements had been made so far for a meeting with the former Ambassador to Washington (Sir Leslie Munro) who is now holidaying in New Zealand.
