Croquet FIELD DAY TOURNEY FOR MEN
The Canterbury Croquet Anociatlon arranged a field day for men. two teams led by W. Joy and R. Campbell meeting at the Redcllffs Club’s greens. After some very close games W. Joy's team won by five games to four. Results:—
Doubles—W. Joy and H. Nettleton beat R. Campbell and L. Sharpe. 22-19: K Hoare and C. Pomeroy lost to D. Turner and H. Rogers, 16-19: H. Nicholls and W. Archbold lost to J. Holt and D. Mlskimmln, 14-18. Singles.—W. Joy beat R. Campbell, 26-15; H. Nettleton lost to L. Sharpe. 9-20: E. Hoare beat D. Turner. 1817: C. Pomeroy beat H. Rogers. 2618; H. Nicholls lost to J. Holt. 10-28; W. Archbold beat D. Misklmmin, 19-16.
