Reply to Box 178, Oamaru.X922l PUBLIC NOTICES GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL , DOG REGISTRATION AND HYDATID CONTROL FEES, 1961 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to Section 8 of the Dog Registration Act, 1955, and Section 25 of the Hydatids Act, 1959, the Geraldine County Council has by resolution fixed the fees for the year January 1, 1961, to December 31, 1961, as follows: ■ (a) A. Registration Fee of five shillings (5/-) for each dog. (b) A Hydatid Control fee of one pound (£1) for each dog, except that such fees payable by one owner shall not exceed unless he owns more than ten (10) in number, when the fee shall be 10/- for each dog. The County Office, Cox street, Geraldine, has been , appointed the Registration Office, and Mr A. B. Haywood, Hislop street, Geraldine, has been appointed Registrar for the whole County. (Dogs may be registered at dosing sites.) Section 3 (1) of the Dogs Registration Act. 1955, provides that no person shall keep any dog of a greater age than six months for a period of fourteen days or more, unless the dog is for the time being registered under the provisions of the Act.
