Man Hit By Car, Badly Hurt
Robert Mark Owen, of 7 Moorhouse street, Waimate, suffered serious injuries when he was knocked down by a car in Queen street. Waimate. at 11.15 p.m. on Friday. He was admitted to the Waimate Hospital and later transferred to Timaru Hospital with extensive fractures. The car was driven by Mr Hugh Milne, a farmer, of Redcliffs.
