Yachting Astor Leads In Race To Hobart
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, December 27. The 73ft schooner, Astor, is leading the 630-mile Sydney-Hobart race fleet at a sluggish four knots down the New South Wales coast. In second place is the 65-ft cutter. Kurrewa IV. which led the field early today. In third place is the 57ft cutter. Solo. Twenty-four of the 32 competing yachts are within a 12-mile radius.
