Munster Beaten By 9 To 3 (N.Z. Press Association—Copurioht > CORK (Ireland). December 21 The South African Rugby team won the eighteenth game of its tour at Cork today when it beat Munster. 9-3. Munster surprised the visitors early and held grimly to a firsthalf lead. The Springboks only got on terms midway through the second half, but scored twice near the end . In the closing stages the excitement rose and contrary to expectations it was Munster which Was attacking. But in the finish South African pressure told. Munster was penalised and Dupreez kicked a magnificent goal from 12 yards outside the 25 and three yards in«from the touch line. Mr James Michael O'Sullivan, died in hospital at Hawera yesterday after a short illness. He was 77. Mr O’Sullivan played for Taranaki in 1902, 1903. 1904, 1906, 1908. and 1909. He toured Britain with the 1905 All Blacks and was in the New Zealand team again in 1907 for an Australian tour. One of his greatest triumphs on the Rugby field was as leader of the Taranaki pack when the provincial team beat Harding's Anglo-Welsh team of 1908.
