(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) CANBERRA, December 15.
The graduation today of 28 cadets from the Royal Australian Naval College marked the end of an era in the training of Australian naval officers.
The graduates, 25 from all parts of Australia and three from New Zealand, were the last to pass out from the college under the present training system.
A new extended course with more emphasis on the sciences will begin at the college next year.
