Extension Of Wharf
Plans and estimates for the extension of the low level breastwork have been ordered by the Lyttelton Harbour Board. The reconstruction of the No. 2 breastwork had been completed, reported the engineer-in-chief (Mr J. A. Cashin), and the decking surfaced with tar and sand. Work was proceeding on the parking area, 45 bearing piles having been driven.
