The second leg of the double is the Huia Handicap, in which Purdue has the chance to regain winning form. Betting will be well spread in the McMillan Memorial, but a likely trio are Ruve, Kilroy and Repel. Their biggest threats may be Arid. Naughty. Heythorpe, Sigh. Supreme Justice and Prince Argon. Ruve will be having her first start *ince being trained at Otaki by S. Bryce. Since returning north she has done well in training. Repel has excellent form in the Auckland district.
