Farmer Drowned In River
(New Zealand Press Association) OPOTIKI, December 11 A farmer was drowned yesterday afternoon while he was swimming sheep across the river. He was Damian Parkinson, aged 48, of °P?* lkl ' married, with three children. Mr Parkinson was crossing the river when his horse fell into a deep hole. His body was recovered by aqualung divers.
