Chiller Beef Contest
Two important alterations have been made in the conditions for the chiller beef competition which will be held next year under the auspices of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association. According to advice received from the Meat Board, carcases must now be not less than 5201 b and or more than 6801 b dressed. The range this year was from 5201 b to 7401 b. The board will also now pay out on the basis of the North Island chilled beef schedule for all stock graded chiller quality by the board's grader.
