Thames Club Meeting •‘The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND. December 9. Chutoki. unbeaten in his last three starts, will be a firm lavourite to win again in the Stewards Handicap, the main race for trotters and second leg of the double on the opening night of the Thames. Trotting Club’s meeting at Alexandra Park Raceway. Auckland, tomorrow. Chutoki has given bold displays ol trotting in his three wins and even from 48 yards it is difficult to see him beaten. His Waiuku trainer. E. C. Hair. will have a worthwhile second representative in Ritihia. Jovial Scot, Rascal, and Laurel Grattan should also race prominently. The first leg of the double will be the Turua Handicap, for which Intuition will probably be favourite. The weather prospects are fair and the track should be in fair order.
