Decision On Kelton Today
(Neto Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, December 9.
Kelton was still in the field for the Tapanui Handicap tonight. Earlier he was listed as a doubtful starter. His Wingatui owner-trainer, D P. Wilson, told the secretary of the Tapanui Racing Club that a decision would be made in the morning.
If the War Game gelding starts, he will be one of the fancied runners for the second leg of the double after his effort for sixth at his last start, the Metropolitan Handicap at the New Zealand Cup meeting at Riccarton.
