WELLINGTON, December 9. There has been a fair amount of rain, but the Trentham track will provide excellent going for the Otaki Maori Racing Club’s meeting on Monday. The Otaki course is undergoing reconstruction, which has necessitated the switch to Trentham. There will be only one double, which will be run on the Hone McMillan Memorial and the Hula Handicap, the two open events on the programme. Riding engagements include: — S. B.
