The Roman Catholic Bishop of Christdhurch (the Most Rev. E. M Joyce) will arrive from Sydney today after his ad limina visit to Pope John in Rome. Bishop Joyce will be welcomed at a liturgical reception in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday evening. Lieutenant-Colonel S. H. Johnson, a former Director of Army Education and Welfare Services, left Wellington yesterday in the Rangitoto to take up duty in Palestine as a United Nations military observer. —(P.A.)
