MICK SIMMONS PROSPECTS
Mick Simmons (Holdings), Ltd., does not expect to derive benefit from its cigarette vending subsidiary in the current year, the annual report states. This company, now profit earning. showed an accumulated loss of £6902 at July 31, “which can be regarded as the cost of entering this new industry,” directors say. Their intention is to concentrate on expanding the scale of vending operations and “growth is expected to be considerable." Group net profit of £53,660 (already published) is equal to 12.2 per cent, on capital. The dividend of 10 per cent absorbs £41,727.
