WOMAN FOUND DEAD
Knife Wound In Chest (New Zealand Press Association) GISBORNE, December 8. A middle-aged woman was found dead with a knife wound in her chest in the sitting-room of her home at Waimana, seven miles from Whakatane, about 3 ajn. today. She was Mrs Tani McCullough, aged about 45, with three children. The body was found by her husband. Mr Walter McCullough, a farmer. He told the police he had got out of bed to look for his wife and found her body. Police inquiries are continuing.
