Vessels To Visit Lyttelton
Two vessels chartered by the recently formed Tasman Pacific Shipping Company are expected to arrive at Lyttelton soon. The Tasman Pacific Company, which has its headquarters in Auckland, was the first shipping company to lower the freight rates of meat to the United States by 10 per cent. The two vessels are the Cap Domingo and the Cap Corrientes They will load refrigerated cargo for Pacific coast ports of the United States.
It is expected that the company will run a monthly service to the United States.
