The Sacred Heart GirW College annual prize-giving was presided over by the administrator of the Cathedral parish (■the Very Rev. Father Kane). Benediction was celebrated in the Cathedral of the Bleeeed Sacrament, and this was followed by the prize-giving ceremony, which opened with the singing of “The Heavens are Telling.” from "The Creation.” by Haydn. After the principal’s report, the prizes were distributed and the school year was brought to a close with the school song, “Girls of Sacred Heart” Prize-winners were:— Dux of the College.—Bernadette Layburn.
