Papanui High School

“I think that some kind of honours pass in the School Certificate examination would five incentive to the more able members of our fifth forms,” said the headmaster of Papanui High School (Mr L. B. Newton) at the school’s prize-giving ceremony yesterday afternoon. ‘’Subject passes might give incentive to candidates of lesser ability and at the same time provide them with a certificate of achievement of some satisfaction to themselves and of some use to prospective employers.” Dr. C.
