Saturday, December 10: Canterbury .Car Club’s standing quarter-wile speed trials at Shand’s Track, Hornby, commencing at & a.m. Motor racing at Ardmore (13 scratch and handicap races). Vintage car rally at Rangiora. Sunday, December 11: Interclub gymkhana between the M.G., Canterbury, and Ashburton Car Clubs at Motukarara, commencing at 11 a.m. Combined motor-cycle and car race meeting at Greenperk, organised by the Canterbury Auto-Cycle Club and the Canterbury Region of the New Zealand Racing Drivers’ Club, first race at 1 p.m. (this meeting was postponed last weekend). North Island hillclimb championship at Ostrich Farm road, Bombay.
