ST. MARTINS SECTIONS
Top Price Of £1625
Four back sections and three front sections in Whaka crescent, St. Martins, were sold at auction last evening for £10,185. Bidding on most sections opened at £l2OO and' rose in bids of £5O and £25.
The highest price paid was £1625 for a back section of 33.6 perches and the lowest price was £1350, for a front section of 26.6 perches. Eight sections were offered for sale, but one failed to reach its reserve. They were offered on behalf of Mr T. P. Riseley.
Th auction attracted a crowd of about 60.
