Former All Black’s Body Found
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, Nov. 21.
The body of Reginald Clive Bell, aged 67. of 180 South road. Caversham. Dunedin, was recovered from the Taieri river, a mile downstream from the Outram bridge, early on Sunday morning.
He was reported missing by his wife on Saturday night after he failed to return from fishing in the river. Mr Bell was a member of the 1922 All Blacks who toured Australia. He played for the Pirates Football Club, and was in the Otago team which played the first touring Springbok team in 1921. He also represented Otago in 1922.
