Plane Flying To U.S. For Steel

A United States Navy Super Constellation left Christchurch on Sunday for Quonset Point. Rhode Island, to bring back some steel construction cargo, required for the rebuilding of the inland Bryd Station, in the Antarctic Commander L. W. Haskell, senior naval staff officer at Harewood. said earlier that the cargo arrived at Rhode Island behind schedule because of last year’s steel strike.
