INQUIRIES AT ADDINGTON
An inquiry was held after the November Handicap at Addington on Saturday into a complaint against J. W. Smolensk!, driver of Van Rush.
Smolensk! was found guilty of careless driving and was suspended to December 19. An objection against Samantha’s second placing was lodged after the Le Lievre Handicap, on the grounds of interference to Spring Chat, driven by M. Holmes, which in turn checked Mulgrove, Gay Alabama and Finestra. The objection was dismissed.
Holmes was given a medical examination before the Hayward Handicap. He was passed fit to drive.
