Aiderman Saves Girl From Surf
SYDNEY, November 20. The Mayor of Randwick, a municipality of Sydney, swam 150 yards through boiling surf yesterday to help rescue a 15-year-old girl swept out to sea by a rip. The mayor. Aiderman A. C. Molloy, a former surf club captain, spotted the girl while he was walking along Maroubra Beach He dived into the water immediately and swam towards her. He was joined by a beach inspector and the two men managed to bring her ashore.
