Motor-Cyclist And Pillion-Rider Hurt

A motor-cyclist lost his left leg below the knee, and his pillion passenger suffered a broken left leg, when their machine struck a parked taxi about three miles and a-half north of Bulls, on the Turakina highway tonight.
The motor-cyclist is Mr Robert George Scott, aged 30, of 99 Swiss avenue, Gonville, Wanganui, and the passenger Mr Arthur Woller, aged 25, of 157 Heads road, Wanganui.
