Power-Cyclist Badly Injured
(New Zealand Press Association) TIMARU, November 20. Patrick Thomas Leonard, aged 50, a labourer, of 55 Dunkirk street, Timaru, was seriously injured when his power-cycle was involved in a collision with a car at the corner of Park lane and Douglas street about 6.45 p.m. on Saturday. Mr Leonard, who suffered a fractured skull, dislocated left shoulder, fractured left elbow, and lacerations to the face and body, was unconscious when taken to the Timaru Public Hospital by a St. John ambulance. He recovered consciousness this morning. His condition is described as- satisfactory.
