SYDNEY STOCK EXCHANGE.—Closed-circuit television, bringing trading operations within the view of the man in the street, many new acoustic absorbent ideas, and silent telephones with an enunciator lighting system, are features of the new Sydney Stock Exchange. Ten separate posts, in double-height and single-height sections, show the names of all listed companies on blackboards indicating the best buy and sell bids as they are made vocally. The picture illustrates double floor-height posts on the trading floor, and shows separate slat chalk boards listing stocks, with spaces for markets and sales.
