Gloves For All Sizes
Gloves that fit all sizes are now being made by an American company. More than 60 styles for each season are being made, including leathers, satins, wools and fancy types. The secret is a patented expansion fabric. When the gloves are made of leather or solidly woven or knitted fabrics, the fabric is incorporated in the side wall or in an insert, a technique that is covered under patents the company holds. The result of this development is that a retailer can do a better job for his customers with a smaller stock. The idea is catching on rapidly in America and in Europe.
Plane Cleaner: A good cleaner for piano keys may be made as follows: make a paste of powdered whiting and methylated apirits. Apply it to the keys with a soft pad of cotton wool, then polish carefully with a ! piece of silk.
