MINOR FIRES
A fire in an office on the first floor of the building.at 139 Madras street caused little" damage yesterday. TTie occupier is Mr P. J. Long Three units from the Central Fire Station attended at 2.33 p.m.
A chimney fire at 97 Innes road, owned by Mr L. H. Booth, was attended by one unit from St Albans at 11.30 a.m. A fire in rubbish and tree trimmings at 62 Veitchs road, on propertv owned by Mr M. Thompson, of 34 Arawa street, was attended bv one unit from St. Albans at 2.48 p.m.
