Views Of Hamilton Manufacturer • "The Press’* Special Service HAMILTON, November 2. Employers did not want hooligans on their staff, the chairman (Mr A. J. Yendell) told the annual meeting of the Hamilton branch of the Auckland Manufacturers’ Association. “A problem on which employers should firmly express themselves is the irresponsible conduct of a minority of our young people,” Mr Yendell said. “These persons and their parents should realise that hooligans are not wanted by employers The respect paid to young people who come from good families is still a major consideration in selecting staff for positions that can offer opportunity and advancement,” he said.
