92 Migrants To N.Z. By Air
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. October 19. A party of 92 British emigrants leaves London Airport for Auckland next Wednesday in a 8.0A.C. Britannia airliner. All are travelling under the sponsored migration scheme. The flight is the first large charter movement of migrants to New Zealand by the corporation, but it will also be the first time that such a large party of sponsored migrants has arrived in the country by air. The passengers include nearly a dozen married couple* The flight was arranged on behalf of the New Zealand High Commissioner's office in London, said “The Times.”
