Two More Men On Rape Charge
(New Zealand Press Association) ROTORUA, October 16. Two more men—eight appeared —were charged before Mr H. E. Davis, J.P., in the Magistrate’s Court at Rotorua yesterday with committing rape at Murupara on October 9. The accused, Joseph Tumarae. aged 18, forest worker, of Kiorenui village, Murupara, and John Tipuna Tomi, aged 17, workman, of Murupara, were remanded to appear until next Friday. Bail was refused.
