Commercial Markets Steady At Close Of Trading
Purees were mainly steady on the Christchurch otocK Exchange yesterday in a moderate volume of trading. z
National Consolidated showed the sharpest movement of the day, falling Is 6d to 80s. The final uiviaena announcement apparently disappointed the market. N.Z. Breweries shares were fractionally weaker, but the rights were unchanged. Bing Harris A and' Waltons were also slightly weaker. Small Price rises were recorded by Lane, Walker,.Kuakm, Union Steamship preference, Vibrapac Blocks, Waltons and Woolworths notes.
