Canterbury East C.W.l.—Mrs H. Prebble presided at a recent executive meeting of the Canterbury East Federation of Country Women’s Institutes, when sympathy was expressed with the family of Mrs E. S. M. McNaughton, a former Dominion president and editor of the institute magazine, “Home and Country.” A roster for selling health stamps was prepared. Arrangements were made for the half-yearly meeting of the executive, to be held at Akaroa. It was announced that a conference of co-ordinating committees will take place soon, and that a federation rally will be held at Lincoln College in November.
