Miss Barlee was a staff officer at the Christchurch Y.W.C.A. for five yean when she was appointed national extension secretary of the Y.W.C.A. of Australia," in February 1959. Because of her enthusiasm, the Y.W.C.A.’s camp at Spencerville was established and she was its director. ■The eamp is full of memories of Rosemary, the warm-hearted girl from Dublin,” said Miss Hardie. “Plans to extend the camp are under way and it has been suggested that one of the new rooms should be named the ‘Rosemary Room.’”
