BOOK EARLY. 2087 WOOL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS Applications are invited for three Wool Research Fellowships -to be awarded in 1961 for three years’ post-graduate study in wool science at overseas institutions. They will be awarded by the New Zealand Wool Board on behalf of ,an independent research organisation the Board plans to establish in 1961 in collaboration with the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. The initial budget will be £lOO,OOO a year. The organisation will undertake a balanced programme of research on wool and wool production, entailing work on the physical, chemical and biological properties of wool and other aspects of the industry. This is a most interesting field of scientific work on the major product in New Zealand’s economy. Each fellowship is valued at £lOOO per annum, and wife and child allowances are payable.
